On October 28th, I released my debut novel, Peace Weaver. I have been writing Peace Weaver since May of 2020, so it feels strange to finally finish the journey. Even waiting for the book to release, I kept thinking of elements I could add, only to remember that I no longer could.
Holding the physical copy in my hands brought on a mix of emotions. I was happy and proud, but the perfectionist side of me kicked in with some good old imposter syndrome. But I know that its all a learning process. What matters is that I achieved my dream of publishing a book and the process will only get better from here.
Peace Weaver holds a special place in my heart because its the only novel I never fell out of love with as I wrote it. It had its ups and downs for sure, but I knew it was the one I would publish first. It is a good, gentle introduction into my fantasy world (before I toss in major battles, pages of lore, and dragons. I am very excited to move forward in my writing journey with Peace Weaver by my side.
About Peace Weaver
Peace Weave is a no-spice, low fantasy book with what I like to call "a touch of older fantasy" to it. It has a more medieval feel, being inspired by books like Ivanhoe, Beowulf, and other older medieval literature.
It is a story featuring tropes like arranged marriage, backstabbing betrayal, politics and intrigue, enemy kingdoms, strangers to lovers, and more. I hope it leaves readers with a sense of cozy satisfaction and a want to know more of the world it is set in (which I shall deliver sometime in the future).
If you are interested in purchasing a copy of Peace Weaver, it is available on the shop page of this website, where I will send it signed, wrapped, and packed with a few goodies.
